S&Z Energiesysteme GmbH, headquartered in Nuremberg and led by Jürgen Zitzmann in project development, was established in 2012 with the mission of developing renewable energy projects.
In 2017, the entrepreneur took the initiative as one of the first photovoltaic planners and installers to engage in the Western Balkans. A major factor in this decision was the region's untapped potential for transitioning to renewable energy. S&Z successfully established planning teams in Albania, Montenegro, and Kosovo, and commenced project planning of various scales through fully selffinanced efforts.
